Rendoor is a digital platform that connects users seeking home services with independent service providers. We facilitate connections and provide tools for communication, booking, and payment processing. Rendoor itself does not provide home services; we act solely as an intermediary platform connecting users with independent service providers.
To use Rendoor, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. If you are using the platform on behalf of a business or organization, you must have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
To access certain features of the platform, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Rendoor immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Rendoor acts solely as a marketplace and communication platform connecting users with independent service providers. Rendoor does not employ service providers, control the quality, timing, or legality of services provided, guarantee the performance of service providers, or provide insurance for services. Service providers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Rendoor. Any service agreement is between you and the service provider, not with Rendoor.
When you book a service through Rendoor, you enter into a direct agreement with the service provider. Rendoor facilitates the booking process but is not a party to the service agreement. You are responsible for communicating your requirements clearly to the service provider. Service providers are responsible for delivering services in accordance with their own terms and applicable laws.
Payments for services may be processed directly between you and the service provider or through Rendoor or our payment partners. You agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your use of the platform, including any platform fees, service fees, or transaction fees. All payments are subject to the terms and conditions of our payment processors. Refunds, if applicable, are subject to the service provider's refund policy and Rendoor's dispute resolution process.
Cancellation and refund policies vary by service provider. You should review the service provider's cancellation policy before booking. Rendoor may assist in resolving disputes between users and service providers, but the final resolution is subject to the service provider's policies and applicable laws. Rendoor reserves the right to charge cancellation fees as specified in our platform policies.
Service providers are responsible for maintaining all necessary licenses, permits, and insurance required to provide their services. They must provide services in a professional manner, comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and accurately represent their qualifications and experience. Service providers are solely responsible for the quality and safety of the services they provide.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their service needs, ensuring access to the service location, treating service providers with respect, and paying for services as agreed. Customers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and must not use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Users may submit reviews, comments, photos, and other content ("User Content") to the platform. By submitting User Content, you grant Rendoor a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content for any purpose. You represent that you own or have the right to grant such license. User Content must not be defamatory, obscene, or violate any third-party rights. Rendoor reserves the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms.
You agree not to: (a) use the platform for any illegal purpose; (b) create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity; (c) circumvent or attempt to circumvent any fees or payment mechanisms; (d) interfere with or disrupt the platform or servers; (e) use automated systems to access the platform without authorization; (f) harass, abuse, or harm other users or service providers; (g) violate any applicable laws or regulations.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. RENDOOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RENDOOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. RENDOOR DOES NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION ON THE PLATFORM.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RENDOOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. RENDOOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO RENDOOR IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. RENDOOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY ACTIONS OR OMISSIONS OF SERVICE PROVIDERS OR OTHER USERS.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rendoor, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another party; or (d) your User Content.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by Rendoor's Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, store, and process your personal data. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy. Rendoor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the platform or any part thereof at any time with or without notice. Rendoor may also modify these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be notified to users via email or through a notice on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the platform.
Rendoor may suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including but not limited to: (a) violation of these Terms; (b) fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity; (c) extended periods of inactivity; or (d) at our sole discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease.
